Returns Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging, with proof of purchase.

To start a return, please contact us at librawoodwork@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your item. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Return shipping costs
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect. We recommend using a tracked delivery service, as we cannot be responsible for returns lost in transit.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us within 48 hours if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. To help us resolve the issue quickly, please provide clear photos of both the item and its packaging.

Custom, made-to-measure, and personalised items
As many of our products are handmade to order, we cannot accept returns or cancellations on custom-made, made-to-measure, bespoke, or personalised items unless they arrive faulty or damaged.

Flat-pack and assembly items
Some of our products are supplied partially assembled or flat-packed to allow for safer delivery and installation flexibility. This will be stated in the product listing and does not qualify as a fault.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
We do not accept returns on:

  • Gift cards

  • Custom-made, bespoke, made-to-measure, or personalised products

  • Items that have been used, installed, altered, or damaged after delivery

Exchanges
The quickest way to exchange an item is to return the original item (once approved) and place a new order.

European Union 14-day cooling-off period
If your order is being shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason, unless the item is custom-made or personalised. Returned items must be unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging with proof of purchase.

Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved. If approved, your refund will be processed back to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note:

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

  • A 10-20% restocking fee will be deducted from refunds for standard returns where the item is returned for reasons other than being faulty, damaged, or incorrect.

  • The restocking fee covers handling, inspection, repackaging, and administrative costs.

  • Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging to qualify for a refund.
