Every Libra Woodwork product is handcrafted using quality materials and traditional woodworking techniques. We take pride in every item we make and stand behind the quality of our workmanship.

Every purchase includes our complimentary 12-Month Workmanship Warranty, giving you confidence that if something isn't right because of the way we've made it, we'll put it right.

This warranty is provided in addition to any statutory consumer rights that apply in your country of purchase.

Once registered, you'll receive confirmation that your warranty has been recorded with us, making it even quicker and easier for us to assist you should you ever need support.

What Is Covered

Your warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship faults occurring during normal domestic use, including:

Structural failures caused by defective workmanship.

Glue joint failure.

Loose joints caused by manufacturing defects.

Defective assembly.

Manufacturing faults affecting painted, waxed or finished surfaces.

Faulty hardware or fixings supplied by Libra Woodwork.

Where appropriate, we may repair the product, supply replacement parts or replace the item entirely, at our discretion.

Natural Timber Characteristics

Wood is a natural material, meaning every piece is unique.

The following are not considered faults:

Natural knots.

Grain variation.

Colour variation.

Natural timber movement.

Small splits caused by seasonal movement.

Changes in colour due to sunlight or ageing.

These characteristics are part of the beauty of real wood and are not covered by this warranty.

Paint & Wax Finishes

We use premium Frenchic® paints and quality finishing products throughout our range.

Our interior timber is finished using furniture wax, which enhances the natural grain while providing light surface protection.

Exterior products receive additional protection using premium exterior finishes, including Osmo products where appropriate.

The following are considered normal wear and are not covered:

Minor scratches.

Scuffs.

Chips from impact.

Wax wearing naturally through use.

Heat marks.

Water rings.

Surface fading.

Weathering caused by exposure to the elements.

Outdoor timber products require periodic maintenance to keep them looking their best.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

Incorrect installation.

Unsuitable wall fixings.

Installation onto unsuitable wall surfaces.

Misuse or abuse.

Overloading beyond the intended purpose.

Accidental damage.

Alterations or modifications.

Commercial use (unless agreed before purchase).

Fire, flooding or other environmental damage.

Failure to maintain outdoor products.

Normal wear and tear.

Customer Responsibilities

To keep your warranty valid, please:

Use the product only as intended.

Install it correctly using suitable fixings.

Follow any care guidance provided.

Maintain outdoor products periodically.

Avoid excessive loading.

If you believe your product has developed a manufacturing fault, please contact us with:

A description of the issue.

Clear photographs showing the fault.

We'll assess your claim as quickly as possible and may request additional photographs or information if required.

Our Warranty Does Not Cover

The warranty does not include:

Removal or reinstallation costs.

Decorating or repair work to surrounding areas.

Consequential or indirect losses.

Third-party labour costs.

Damage to other property.

Transferability

This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable without the written agreement of Libra Woodwork.
